School counselors are stretched thin. Classroom teachers are not trained therapists. And students who are struggling — behaviorally, emotionally, academically — often fall through the cracks until the situation escalates.
I provide a dedicated, licensed clinical presence that school staff can refer students to — someone trained specifically in adolescent mental health, behavioral challenges, substance use, and the unique pressures of growing up today.
When students feel heard and supported, behavior improves, attendance rises, and academic performance follows. Mental health is not separate from education — it is the foundation of it.
From behavioral disruptions in the classroom to the anxiety of leaving home for college — I meet students where they are.
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and am licensed to provide mental health and substance abuse counseling services to adolescents.
All services are delivered in full compliance with HIPAA and applicable school privacy standards. Students and families can trust that their information is protected.
Sessions can be arranged around school hours, including before school, after school, and during free periods — minimizing disruption to the academic day.
I work alongside school counselors, teachers, and administrators — not in isolation. Open communication (with appropriate consent) ensures students receive consistent, coordinated support.
Every intervention is grounded in evidence-based practice — including CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care — tailored to each student's unique needs.
Services are available at my Jefferson and La Place offices, or via secure telehealth — making it easy for students to access support regardless of transportation or scheduling barriers.
We start with a no-obligation conversation — I learn about your school's or organization's needs, student population, and goals for the partnership.
Together we design a service model that fits your environment — individual sessions, group support, crisis response, or a combination.
I coordinate with your existing staff to ensure students receive consistent, connected care without disrupting the school day.
Regular check-ins with administrators and counselors keep everyone aligned. I provide progress updates while maintaining student confidentiality.
Whether you lead a school district, run an after-school program, or coordinate student services — if you work with adolescents and want to provide better mental health support, I want to hear from you.
